Entry requirements

RQF Level 6 OTHM qualifications signify hands-on expertise, abilities, and skills evaluated during academic periods, deemed to be on par with Bachelor’s Degrees with Honours, Bachelor’s Degrees, Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Graduate Diplomas, and Graduate Certificates.

Progression

Assessment and verification

Every component of this qualification undergoes both internal evaluation by the center and external confirmation by OTHM. The qualifications are structured around specific learning outcomes, ensuring that all requirements are met.

To achieve a ‘pass’ for a component, students need to submit proof that they have met all the learning outcomes and adhere to the established standards for each assessment criterion. The decision regarding the students’ successful completion of the assessment criteria is made by the Assessor.

The Assessor is required to maintain a record that outlines the process used to determine the students’ overall success in meeting the assessment criteria.

Qualification structure

The course is structured to be completed within a full academic year for students who are studying full-time, but it also offers flexibility in its scheduling to suit those who are studying part-time or who prefer distance learning.
